Community-Based Services
Healing Waters Counseling Center’s Intensive In-Home and Mental Health Skill-Building Programs are licensed by the Virginia Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Services.
Intensive In-Home Services
Intensive In-Home is designed to provide support to children and adolescents who are at risk of out-of-home placement due to emotional and behavioral concerns.
The goal of the service is to provide stabilization and support to improve overall functioning and avoid placement outside of the home.
Mental Health Skill-Building Services
Mental Health Skill-Building offers assistance to adults with serious mental illness who need support to function more independently.
This service is goal-directed and it engages individuals in treatment that teaches important independent living skills.
